Hello my dear friend,

I'm in Chiang khong now. (Northern border of Thailand) The opposite bank of the river is Laos’s country. You can see the Laos Huay-xai village when you staying in the riverside. The Mei-gong river is very small. You can see a lot of Thai peoples carry the goods in riverside. I thought, they will sell goods to Laos.

Everyday rains in the Thailand, but rain time not too long. I’m often to wake up by the patter of rain in the morning. I stayed in Chiang Mai few days. Just go one temple of representativeness – Doi Suthep. I rented motorbike to there. Hey Rich Foreigner, Please come to this way buy ticket. You’ll see the notice board when you stay in entrance. (Hey and Rich just I thought…)

Actuality, I don’t wanna buy the ticket. But I have very good teacher when I very young. So my heart tell me, I must buy the ticket. So……………I have bought tickets.

The Doi Suthep it’s looking good. In the temple all the color likes the gold. This is a rich temple, I thought…. (Please see the attach pictures)

I’m very like Chiang khong this small township. There doesn’t have good scenery, but I met very nicely and friendly peoples. I don’t know where have accommodation when I get off in Chiang khong. Then I ask a woman staff in the shoes shop. She ride motorbike bring me to looking some guest house. 250 per night when we get the riverside guest house. NO no, too expensive. The women tell me. I can stay at her home. Let me to feel embarrassed. I say thank you to her. Then I am looking for other guest house. Actuality, I like Free everything.. ha ha ha … but She can don’t speak English well. So.. she don’t understand my meaning. I deeply appreciated her kindness.

Then I found cheap one guest house, just 100 per night and include TV. The boss also nicely and he can speak Chinese. Good for me.

I take picture for myself in the riverside wharf. Look very stupid. When I saw the guy comes to here. He helps me to take picture then we talking. He is from Luxembourg Europe. We chat to this trip and some things and chat time over 2 hours. I’m very big mouth. Hehe..

I don’t have any plan of Laos. Maybe I’ll hike out to the forest. But now I very relax stay at guest house.

Share some temple and chiang-khong riverside scenery to you. And the Thailand bus door always opened it.

嗨嗨~ 我親愛的朋友,

我現在人在泰國的北部邊境-清孔,隔著湄公河的對面即是寮國(老挝),原來傳說的湄公河竟然比我家門前的淡水河還小條,坐在河邊即可清楚的看到對岸的寮國村落-會晒,明後天就要搭船入境寮國(船程不用十分鐘就到了) 不過下一步要怎麼走還在考慮中??

話說目前泰國幾乎天天下雨,來了兩個禮拜只有一天是晴天的,其他每天一定最少下二三小時以上的雨..常常早上是被雨聲吵醒的! 在清邁待了許多天,因為那裡有許多台灣同胞住在那裡學習泰文或按摩,所以可以提供相當多的資訊! 其實重點是有人可以一起吃飯聊天

在清邁只去了一個代表性的景點-素帖寺,那一天難得下午是大晴天,馬上租了打檔摩拖車騎了約20公里到那裡,門票30元,上面用英文寫著阿度仔(foreigner)請往這裡買票,本來想裝看不懂英文走進去的,但我還是有廉恥心的(看來我國小老師教的還不錯),所以花了30元買回我的廉恥心進入寺廟,素貼寺裝潢的金光閃閃,看來真的是下足了重本!(請見照片)

雖然昨天才到達清孔,但我很喜歡這裡並不是它的風景好,而是遇到好人,一下公車大巴跟本不知道那裡有住宿,到附近的賣鞋店家詢問,老闆娘很細心騎乘摩拖車載我前去尋找民宿,而我身上還背二十幾公斤的行李,真擔心機車會壞掉….哈哈~~ 結果到了河邊的民宿一晚要台幣250元我說太貴,載我去的好心老闆娘竟然說:請我去住她家.我當然很假仙說不好意思打擾(但她的英文程度並不是那麼好溝通) 所以我欲擒故縱的計倆失效(其實我是想去住免錢的),最後還是非常的謝謝她,請她先回去,我再到附近詢問住宿,最後找到一家台幣100元一晚的單人房,而且竟然有電視,因為老闆是泰國華僑所以電視還可以看到中文節目.(賺到,這是目前住到最超值的)

放好行李去河邊走走看看對岸的寮國,正在碼頭邊自拍時(請見附件照片),遇到來自盧森堡的Yasin,很快的跟他聊起來,我們有一樣的東南亞行程,一樣愛旅行攝影,聊了二個多小時非常的投緣並交換電子郵件(但並沒有交換名片)

上天是公平的,遇到好事就一樣會遇到很鳥的事,在清萊所住的Garden house它的花園跟本不是給人欣賞的,而是養蚊子用的,房間的發霉味超重,在那裡只待了一晚第二天馬上閃人,不過清萊的夜市非常的大又棒,東西便宜還有免費的表演可以看! 但要好好選擇住宿條件
